Hello, I’m Montse! I’m a recent Emerson College graduate with a B.A. in Media Arts Production and a minor in History, and I’m currently working at The Jim Henson Company, where I support daily operations in a fast-paced production environment.
Through my experiences at The Jim Henson Company, Roddenberry Entertainment, FableVision Studios, and on independent film sets, I’ve had the chance to work in development, production, and operations in both office and on-set settings. I really enjoy the mix of creativity and logistics that goes into making projects happen, and I love working with others to help ideas move from early development to production. I’m excited to continue growing my career in entertainment and exploring opportunities across television and film.

I was given the amazing opportunities to intern at Fablevision Studios & Roddenberry Studios in 2023 and 2024.
At Fablevision, I worked on a variety of projects involving web design & game development. I not only performed QA testing, but I also created project update presentations as well as assisted with museum game prototypes. In addition to that, I also managed administrative tasks, including communication with clients and organizing materials.
At Roddenberry Studios, I provided detailed book and script coverage, conducted research for ongoing projects, attended production meetings, and collaborated with the Podcasting Department to produced episode summaries and creative briefs.
Past Experiences
Recently, I worked as the Costume Designer on the independent short films The Tunnel (2026) and The Clark Family Roadtrip (2025), and as an Art Production Assistant on the independent film Oracle (2025). I also served as an Art Assistant on the NYU Graduate Thesis film, Gestations (2025), and previously worked as an Associate Producer on the independent short film Baggage (2024).
During my time at Emerson College, I was heavily involved in a variety of student-led organizations and productions. I contributed to the Latino-led magazine Raíz as a photographer, writer, and translator. I also worked on Emerson Channel's Chew on That as the Director of Photography and on Culture Shock as both Floor Manager and later Studio Director.
In addition, I worked on Emerson Independent Video's short film Boy Bandz (2023), serving as an Associate Producer during pre-production and as a Production Assistant during filming. I also worked as the Costume Designer on How You Get the Girl (2022) and as a Behind-the-Scenes Photographer on Abducted Anonymous (2022).
Outside of film production, I worked as a freelance graphic designer for Green Door Labs, creating materials for their project Club Drosselmeyer.
